- I am doing some research on a new method of password screening. The
- method involved uses a specialized compressed dictionary designed
- allow millions of words to be used without eating up all the disk
- space on a workstation. A paper on the preliminary design will be
- presented in October at the National Computer Security Conference, and
- has been submitted to a journal for publication. (A compressed
- PostScript version of the paper can be ftp'd from
- arthur.cs.purdue.edu, as ~ftp/pub/spaf/ncsc.PS.Z).
-
- To provide as comprehensive a test as I can of the method, I need
- dictionaries, especially dictionaries of non-English words. If you
- have such dictionaries, or know of archive locations, please let me
- know by e-mail.
-
- Many thanks.
